Cod and Lings aboard the Princess out of Morro Bay
Went up to Morro Bay for Thanksgiving weekend. Original plan was to take the Kolo up and do some rockfish but that didn't work out so I booked a 10 hour trip aboard the Princess out of Virg's Sportfishing. We traveled up the coast for about 2.5 hours and the captain finally got to the spot he wanted. My first drop I got a 6 pound chuckle head and it was pretty much non-stop action after that. I caught my limit of 10 rockfish and 2 ling cod, plus gave away another ling and some blue bass. The jackpot was about a 14 pound ling. Excellent boat and crew. We were sold out at 45 people and the crew worked hard to keep the tangles to a minimum.

Awesome catches Jeff!
Thanks for the invite to drive up, but there's no way with my crazy busy Holiday work schedule.
We'll get back out there soon my friend.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Nice fishies there! I have this boat on my 2015 to do list. I just finished another rock cod dinner and will be out there fishing for more before 1-1-2015. Thanks for the report and picture.
