Made another mission to the aqueduct. It was a solo trip. Got there before sunrise and started to pound the concrete. Hit some old spots and some new spots. Learned somethings as well. The most productive lure was a duo realis 120 ghost minnow. All of my fish were caught on it. And a bunch of curious followers. Which I need to figure out how to turn those into hook ups. I tried a duo realis 120 allbait and nothing. No followers. I thought maybe a color change might do it. Nope. Tried a lipless crank all day for Nada. I tried bouncing a fluke and had some followers. I tried to convert these into hookups by adding some smell good I had on hand. Garlic liquid smelly jelly. Not the trick, not even another look after that. Guess I won't be adding any more of that anytime soon. 4 2-3 pound stripers according to my new acquired lip gripper scale. These fish were weenies as they hardly pulled the spring. I also caught a dink large mouth. For 5 fish from 5am to 3pm.

It requires a quick 12 ft cast to the direction you saw them last and pop!
