island of Kauai is over run with them. They actually have a sound system set up at the airport that sounds like a canon going off evry few minutes at the airport to keep them off the runway. I was told they escaped from a chicken farm years ago during a huricane. No alarm clocks needed on the island.

You'd think a chicken would die quickly, but nope! They're at home. These birds are extremely intelligent, devise unique calls for different threats, and they're very skilled predators, with keen eyesight.
