    Default Lake Mohave

    Fished Mohave hard from Monday thru Wed. last week. Never marked so many fish and lots of bait balls every where. Fished down by the dam for stripers with anchovies. After a few hours of nothing we decided to fish for LMB. Trolled the area for one and then ran into the coves on the west side. Drop shot robo worm did the trick, but still a very slow bite. Wed. afternoon the wind came up around 11:00 AM. We tried again Thurs. AM, but way too much wind and getting pretty dangerous on the lake so we pulled the boat and headed back to CA.

    Thanks for the report! My buddy that works at cottonwood cove said that lake has been windy and blown out pretty much all year....i had the same problem when i was up there last april...
