    Pretty sure that's a typo in the FNN page for Pyramid, I've never seen it much more than 280' deep:

    Interestingly, the California Health Advisory report for Pyramid states it's 700 feet deep, and cites FNN as the source of this info:

    I thought it was 280 also. Wouldn't 700 ft have been a natural lake without a dam?
