High Country Goldens

Did a day hike to a place I have wanted to go for a while now. Round trip the hike was about 14 miles to a series of lakes. Arrived during an insane surface bite that died down before I could rig up. Missed one on a #18 EHC. The wind really started to pick up, so I switched to an olive wooly bugger. I ended up landing 7 beautiful fish. Didnt get to fish as long as I wouldve liked due to the long hike out. Very long day but worth the effort. On a side note, does anybody know of a California fly fishing forum?
