At the lake at 2pm,,,,NO boils so a trolling we go,,,,

Then we found a stranded rental boat,,,,2 moms and 2 young boys ADRIFT,,,,

Jacob says DAD we MUST help them out even though the bite is wide open WE MUST,,,SO,

That put us back at the dock at 6 25pm,,,,,18 landed from 1 to a healthy 4+ lbs ,,,,,,,,only troll,d with 1 rod the whole afternoon,,,,,,,it was FUN watching Jacob wrestle the big rods and fish ,,,,,,,it was great,,,,,


So,,,,,we decided to hit it again in the morn so off to the camp ground we went,,,,

Next morning was a lot slower,,,,,,,,,still some but not the quality of the day before,,,,

Was a great trip,,,,,,,,,,


all fish cought on the bako boy rigs,,,,,,,,,3.2 to 3.5 mph in 20 to 25 feet of water,,,,,,


Lots a pattys a floating but absolutely doable,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Wat temp 74 to 78 deg lake at FULL POOL!

New lake staff are great ,,,,friendly and helpful,,,,,,,,,,,AND the camp grounds now have a live in host with wood/camp supplys etc,,,

Also this report really showed me something. We couldn't get you to goof around with us on that trip to San Antonio. You were focused on killing fish. But, when jr wants to spend some time goofing off... Dad's all for it!!!
