Thread: Anybody fished the dam lately?

  1. #1

Default Anybody fished the dam lately?

Anybody tried the dam this past week? I'd heard that the dam bites well when they are letting water in, and am thinking of hitting it this Sunday. Tommibear?
    Any info/updates would be appreciated!
    thanks,
    Johnny

I was there monday. Pretty good action that day. There's a lot of bass swimming along the shore. You can see them. Pretty decent sizes too. Me and my buddy caught about 9 of them using roboworms and nightcrawlers. Good luck.

    Jowo,

I haven't fished Castaic for the past two weeks... The weather has been way too hot at the Dam, and that hike down the slope is pretty steep nowadays.

If you do go, make sure you bring a lot of water and some shade.

Thanks for the info, guys! Ended up deciding to go Pyramid, and then had to cancel that when I went to the eye doctor and she said i had a partically detached retina! Specialist says no, sent me to a retina specialist to decide if whatever they see needs surgery. At least whatever happens, it won't be until after the camping/fishing trip at Pyramid this weekend! Fingers crossed I get the kiddies into some fish! got 4, 3-7 year olds to appease!
