Default Brite Valley lake. CRAPPIE TIME

So my nephew always wants me to take him fishing but ive been busy lately. So today I finally had some time but I didn't know where to take him for some fun fishing. All the trout are done around here for now so I started looking around for a little lake and decided to give brite lake a go.

We got there around 9 and hit the water. The water level was low but not bad enough not to be able to launch. Water was clean and pretty clear. Lots of grass near ther shore and water temp was 72-74. The lake was only about 27ft at its deepest point. Startded off slow but after a little recon we found em. First spot we got a couple good keepers, then it died down. Second spot was WO for a good 30 mins.

End up with 30 crappie (kept 3) and a couple bluegill for the day and of course my nephew had the most out of all of us. (Which is the best when you take kids)

Will definitely be hitting up this lake again.

Summer time, kids and panfish, it doesn't get any better than this. Kudos to you for a great time on the water, memories forever.
