    staying the weekend in boulder bay and was looking to see if any carp or bluegills are biting. the 5 year old wants to catch something.

    About 2 weeks ago I was up there with my brother and we were catching carp on corn and trout on powerbait and night crawlers.

    thanks for the reply. figure we'll just toss corn off the dock and see what bites.

    Try some wonderbread dough balls. Cast further than corn and works really good for carp.

    Try arrows. They work on the ones that aren't hungry.

    I'll be up there this weekend too,
    Taking a cornmeal mix, some old bollies I have, my surf rod I bought for big bear, and the bow, have to hit them carp from all angles.

    Also bring the panfish gear, and catfish gear
