    Default Skinner on the 4th.

    I fished the inlet today. Just me and another boat for a short time and then everyone showed up. Soaked some bait and waited for the bite on striper. But the bite was slower than last week. I notice that the flow of water coming in was less then last week and the bite was off for us today. I did manage a 3 and 4 lbs'er and the amount of fish caught compared to boat traffic was low. I heard all different baits where used today. That is it nothing great today. Happy 4th!!

    The reason fishing was slower today compared to last week is because word is out that the inlet is the hot spot and the vast majority of boats linger in that area so they fished it out sorry no more fish.
