Default Guide trip tues dylan and me

Dylan a recent reg on the boat called while I was up north working and set up a trip when we were both open. tues was the day ,we met up just before opening and hit the water ,we cruised into cleghorn ,seeing some surface popping we got a schoollie right out of the gate ,but Dylan was only looking for a big one so we released him.we stopped and dropped the trolling motor and worked a area for a while but they didn't want any of what we had ,we threw everything but the kitchen sink at them Dylan had a couple strikes but that was it. so we trolled on hitting a schoolie here and one there ,they were all about the same size so we just kept putting them back.we had covered all the hot spots from my last trip , and with all the boat traffic and jet skis it downrigger time ,they were hitting just about everywhere we trolled ,and the hit hit from 21ft down to 41ft down on the dr, Dylan had fun with the little set ups and lite line , the schoolies the were non-stop getting double hooked from slamming the lures so hard.it hit around 2 oclock and Dylan had to leave ,so after he left I sat and relaxed for a minute then thought what the hell im already here and theres lots of light left so I went back out, I wasn't as nice as Dylan ,everytime I got a fat schoolie he got wacked ,I had a couple people from work who wanted some fish,so the afternoon turned into a kill mission . so after a couple hours of trolling around I had a limit and it was time to leave...........thank you Dylan again for using my service ,the wood isn't ready yet to give up her bigger fish in the day light fishing ,probably this fall..........T/O.....
