Default Team 57: BPS meet n greet + Irvine session

Team 57 will be gathering at Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucmonga from 11am until approximately 2pm for lunch in the store restaurant, talk fishing, share some laughs and then head to Irvine Lake to fish the rest of the day....if you can't do both, do what fits your schedule and/or pocket book (sorry for the late notice)

Hope to see you there....all are welcome!

Default Follow up report and thank you

Had a great time this weekend, I hope all the FNNers (still lurking or otherwise) had a great weekend!

Hit BPS with Fishingcrave, Rooster and BannedJr around 11am and took a look around....

The guys showing their better sides

After some browsing around we grabbed a bite with ThisFool, Team Tightline and "angry duck fan" Josh, enjoyed a beverage, toasted to the KINGS Stanley Cup and told ghost stories before heading off to the lake....

Ran into Hbar and his better half "mini" as we were leaving, best of luck in Alaska Mike....don't forget about us 57 guys the lower 48...we're expecting reports!

Bolted off from there (as much as traffic would allow) and headed off to the Vine to beat the heat and try to punk the skunk!

A quick adjustment before take off....

I was happy to watch the sun come down, felt great to wear a hoodie for a change with the 1st day of summer upon us

Bite was slow all around the lake from what we could gather so we tried Bing's Buoy and Fishngcrave got us ont eh board with a chunks stocker

The conversation was hotter than the bite, so we tried a few places before settling in along the point. Rooster nailed a little wiper and later I got the kicker cat for the night....a solid 6.65 on the Vine scales.

oh and as far as I know...Team Trolltoon your ride is still waiting for you at BPS

See you guys at the lake, thanks for reading!

I'll try not to forget, my buddies house I'm staying at, we'll be catching trout from his front porch he tells me. I was gonna ship out a couple of rods, reels, and one of my tackle boxes but frick man, shipping the one box with my tools in it was over $200 bucks, so it's gonna have to wait a bit, nothing say's I can't buy some gear when I get there though "TACKLE WHORE" huh Travis
