Silverwood 6/9/14
So my buddy and I hit up silverwood lake today. We arrived at 6 and rented a boat and was out on the water around a little before 6:30. It was his first time fishing that lake and Only my second time fishing it by boat. We got to the money spot and started off ok. We had some bites within 5-10 minutes of setting the anchor. For about the next 2 hours we had some consistent bits, we landed maybe about 10 with about 5 fish shaking the hook off. It slowed down a bit and other boaters took off and we did as well. We tried another spot the wind picked up and was moving us closer to shore. We decided to go back to the original spot again where the wind was much calmer. Once we set anchor I had a bit with in 10 seconds, after I landed the fish my buddy also got a hit. We both got a fish landed within a minute of arriving. From there one we had consistent bites and got a DOUBLE hook. Needles to say my buddy had a boas and so did I. I can't wait to hit up the lake again, the price of the boat was fair and looking forward to renting one again. Here are some pics of our outing. We caught our limits and fished catch and release for a while before taking off around 2:30 to beat the traffic home.
