Thread: Perris Warrior Bass

    Default Perris Warrior Bass

Check this guy out, caught him Friday on a spinnerbait. Fought HARD! At first I thought it was probably a cormorant that shanked him but after looking at the wounds and thinking about it, I'm pretty sure he got clipped by a prop.
Either way says a lot about the lake and the fish in there. The wound wasn't infected and he swam away to fight another day.

Wild animals never cease to amaze me. This poor bastard is one tough S.O.B. Nice catch on the gnarly lookin bass.

With the water level being down, perhaps the LMB was in the east end, (swallow end), and tried to dive under the prop and ran out of depth. Who knows; but one tuff fish!
