So the media has pumped this historic attempt for a grand slam at Belmont today...
I've been watching and a few questions for the horse race crowd.
Where are all the sponsorship decals?
Do they have a pace horse?
I'm not seeing any white trash in the crowds? Only rich looking people?
Is there a road course in horse racing?
Is there a son of a legendary horse in the race who just isn't anything close to his fathers talent, but never the less has millions of rabid fans who are happy if he leads a lap or two a year?
Is there one horse that always wrecks every other horse and complains and crys named Harvick?
Is there a uber talented horse with crazy skills named Kyle?
How does the jockey communicate with the crew chief?
I can see changing shoes on the pit stop but where to they stick the gas can nozzle?
Is there a trophy horse for the winner to photo with?
I'm really struggling with the culture of this method of racing. I catch on fairly quickly, please help
