I haven't been to Havasu in 5 or 6 years. But, we never needed anything special to launch. Lots of people store their boats their CA boats in Havasu or Needles. Unless things have changed recently, your good to go.
Nope nothing changed we do a lot of trips there every year. Site six is a free launch ramp but real steep and packed on the weekends drops off quick Havasu marina is a good ramp got to pay if you launch early no sweat but when you come back to load it can and does get Crazy on weekends. Windsor is also a pay to launch just be careful lots of rocks by the shore prop eaters.
Plus you have to make a run thru the channel during the day just to check every Body out Crazy just hide your beer there sheriff boat all over the channel.
