12 hour fishing trip

I went out Last night to fish from buttonwillow bridge to wind gap only one hook up on 1 fish didn't Get to see What it was since it came off. All the way up to the golfcourse the water wasn't moving at all. All the gates were shut down from check 27 to old river gate. The weird thing is that in the morning when I started fishing with lures I saw about 6 schools of stripers and they didn't want to bite nothing. Did see about 15 dead stripers at the bridge past the golfcourse. I could say it was one of my worst days out there, the banks had a lot of moss really hard to fish with lures.
