Congrats on the fish! I was blown away when I first saw the picture. Thanks for sharing with all of us and inspiring us to catch our dream fish.

Hey BigRed Killa,
Isn't that just like Lt Bones to put his friends before himself! Mike is a good man and I am also honored; like you, to call him my mentor and friend!
Congratulations on beaching that monstrous WSB from the surf!
That fish is a once in a life time catch Sir! WON worthy for certain!
I've beached six WSB in the last two years but non of them has ever exceeded the mark 27 1/2"!
So the legal WSB is still on my list to achieve.
Thank you Lucas for the exciting write up, for sharing your memorable experience with all of us and for re-kindling some hope back into this ol' guy's veins for my elusive legal WSB! I realize that with patience .... my dream will also come true; some day, as it has for you.
I do believe in GHOSTS!

Congratulations on your Huge catch. Nothing better than catching one with family and friends.
IF you don't mind me asking what size of line and length of rod do you guys using fishing off the surf/ beach I guess it is. Not trying to get in on your secret spot im just trying to maybe get some stuff together to try it out myself on my first California saltwater adventure. Im a freshwater redneck guy guy and 850+ miles from California headed that way in June.
O....M....G!!!!
Congratulations on the catch of a lifetime! You couldn't have had a better wingman for that AO!
