Family Affair
In the middle of the week the wife tells me that her & her son (my step son) wanted to hit the duct on Saturday. I was a little reluctant because the last time she came out with me, we ended up bring this home.
Found him in the middle of nowhere, probly dumped?
Well, he's adapted well here and is quit comfortable.
Anyway, I made a deal, we're not bring home anymore dogs. Her son doesn't fish much, but I bought him his license for Xmas, just in case he wanted to go out with me this year.
Man, did they have a blast. I didn't keep exact count, but they probly caught 20 between them.
As for me, I ended up with 3. The "designated unhooker" didn't have much time to fish. Which was fine with me, bcuz I had a blast watching them reeling in their fish. It made my day watching the look on each of their faces when they would hook up.
All the fish were the 17-19" cookie cutters. Nothing photo worthy. But, a great day with the fam none the less.

That's awesome. As I get older it's more fun to put beginners on fish than catch them. It's more fun to call the ducks and geese for em too!
