    Eat it!? You don't kill a fish like that! You quickly take measurements and photos and get that pig back in the water! Only thing is, what do you do if you happen to catch a "World Record" fish? No taxidermist is going to have a mold for it yet, so you may have to kill it so a taxidermist can make the original mold for replicas.

    Bluegill, Red Ear, Hybrid I'm no marine biologist but I am a fisherman and that is a very nice panfish. Congrats on your catch with the girls. Thank you for sharing.
