    yeah it was crazy we came up to a school of them with about 50-60 5+ pounders first time i've seen this on the river we ended up with 11 biggest being 7lbs 8oz
    now we have gizzard shad on the river these shad can grow to 7 plus inches long they are truly the ninjas of the river super difficult to stick

    FYI you can also shoot Henshaw, Isabella, Cachuma, Clear Lake, and a number of other San Diego lakes as well as a bunch of Nor Cal areas too. All carp though.

    I think Lake Cahuma also allows bow fishing
