Lake Water Temperatures?

I want to know what the exact water temperature is for some of my local lakes (ex. perris, elsinore, etc.) Is there any link that will give me this info? Some people said NOAA, but I don't understand how this works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hard to get an''exact'' reading on a lake seeing any decent size lake the water temps. fluctuate thru out the lake..but love to get that kinda info myself..lol!

Buy a waterproof thermometer, tie on string, take temp.. Only way to get a current and accurate reading is to do it yourself.
