Alright Halo's fans here we go. Spring training is here and hope is in the air!
After a disappointing 2013 we are looking for some positive progress.
With one of the best players in baseball if not the best player at the moment in Mike Trout what else do we have to work with.
Hopefully Pujols and Hamilton can stay healthy and earn some of that money we paid them this year. I am guarded but optimistic.
The starting pitching rotation looks spottie but with some potential. Here is my prediction on the starting rotation.
Weaver- Stud!
Wilson- Stud!
Richards- High Hopes
Skaggs - young blood aquired in the Trumbo trade with very good potential!
Blanton - probably on a very short leash!
Santiago- another young prospect waiting in the wings if Blanton falters
Love having Don Baylor as the hitting coach. It appears so far in the preseason the batters are swinging at fewer bad pitches.
Only time will tell if we can hang with Texas and Seattle but I'm an optimist so I believe we have a solid chance.
