Pre-prespawn crappie
Caught these back in January when the fish were pretty active looking for bait. Focused on areas with bird and shad activity. Pretty tough fishing. Just using 1/16th roadrunners with a curly tail. Cast, countdown, retrieve. Found out I won't be home to fish the spawn this year. BUMMER. Stuck in Hawaii. Tough deal
