    Default Yorba Regional park 2-16-14

Took the kiddo to the park to play while I fished. Meet my sister there with her 2 kids. I did manage some me time on the water but not as much as I would have liked. Tried a few new baits I just got from tackle warehouse. revenge spinnerbait bluegil pattern, and live target suspending perch. also some home-made wacky worms. I got one bite on the 4" wacky worm in glitter green but missed the hook set. my new baits look great but the water in all three lakes was fairly stained or muddy. trout plant this week might wake up the big bass but it seems the water is getting too warm for them. I'm looking forward to the new moon cycle when I usually do better during the day. should have gone night fishing some where seems like everyone that did killed it.
