Default Santa Monica Bay fishing adventures Jan/Feb 2014 w-pics

Went fishing a bunch of times over the last four weeks on my 15ft aluminum Duroboat "Red Drum" in the Santa Monica Bay, with four different anglers that I've had the pleasure of meeting through the internet over the years.

Here is Jason with a nice Sand Bass.

David with a nice Sand Bass.

Here I am with a nice Calico Bass.

    Glenn with a Buttermouth Perch.

    Glenn with a nice Sheephead.

Glenn and one of his Sandies.

    Another night time Sand Bass.

Sherm with a nice crank bait Calico.

    Krocodile spoon fed Calico Bass.

    Sherm with two nice Spinies.

Me with some Bugs and a tasty Yellow Crab...yumyum!!

    Me with a female Sheephead.

David with a fat Sand Bass.

David going bendo on a tough pulling Triggerfish.

    David and a chunky Triggerfish.

Me with a 6.5 pound/21 inch Triggerfish...this fish pulled like a freight train.

Also, caught a bunch of these Blacksmith Perch.

Had more great times fishing with some great fisherman, and I can't wait to do it again. HOOK-UP!!

    Till next tide,

Great run on the fish! I like that crank calico. Don't see that too often. Thanks for the post.
