    Default Laguna Niguel 2/20

Decided to hit up Laguna Niguel Lake with the pops before class today. Got a boat and to our spot in the flats at 6:45. Caught first fish at 6:50, caught the tenth at 7:40. Bit on nothing but plastics fished both on drop shot and carolina rigs with 10 inch leaders. White trout worms and mice tails with the green head and orange body. If you wanna catch consistent limits and decent sized fish, Laguna Niguel is the place to be go.

Fished it on Friday from 7-11 and caught four trout. Fish ranged from 12-16 inches. I would rate the fishing fair at best.

We went on Sunday and caught 13. Very slow by our standards, we were told the water tem is now 62-63. The last 6 fish we caught were all on N/C, so things are a changing.
