    Default Fairmount 2/17/14

Hit the good ol local pond in the kayak. Worked the island. Started with a t-rigged brush hog, nailed one within the first few casts. "Yess! today's gonna be fishy!" work for 30 -40 mins or so then nothing. I'm now flippin an Ika, feel the tick after the drop, see my line moving.... reel in the slack set the hook and I'm on, a nice 4lber!! She was a healthy fish. (pics below)

Ended up with 4 today, a good day for me at Fairmount

Awesome! Good to see someone catching the bass there. That is a tough lake.

Thanks guys. This pond is tough, thats why I was stoked to have a good day there, just the day before I got skunked.... Fairmount is 2 minutes from my house so you may see me there in my kayak if you fish it, gimme a hollar. I met a kid named Jimmy there the other day, if you go on here, I still have that reel I was telling you about.

Nice Tree. Did you accidentally catch it whilst going for carp?
