California Wins Suit Over Hatchery Fish Plants

Does anyone know if this has to do with the same suit as the endangered species act that halted the stocking of such local streams as Frenchman's Flat, Big Rock Creek, San Gabriel River, etc. etc? Also, will this allow the DFW to stock diploid trout once again?

No the halting of stocking in San Gabriel River had to do with an ecological impact of the trout affecting local native species which is still being investigated. I think all the trout stocked now are triploid to prevent meiosis and spawning.

That's smaller and less fish for lakes like GVL, LG, and my local city park lakes due to the damn lawsuits.

State plants at GVL have been horrible the past 2 years as it is .last year they were under 12 inches, maybe 3/4 of a pound at most.
