PB falls in less than a week!

Had an epic day on the water last Saturday and with the night fishing window coming to a close I had to get out there at least one more time....GLAD I did!

Hit the lake by 4:30 with plenty of light left to scope out some likely spots....started along the West Shore before settling in along the mouth of Sierra Cove. GREAT call TaperSteve!

Caught quite a few fish in the 2-4lb range, Steve caught fire and started making me wonder if I was going to play "net boy" the rest of the night!

Started to fish much larger baits to try and keep the rats away and it eventually paid off!

17.3lbs of channel cat and a new personal best, safely released to fight another day!

Two personal Best catfish in consecutive weekends has to put this catfish season in the memory banks as one to remember. I have no doubt you'll continue the PB run into the trout season and then I'll bet we'll see you breaking it again next catfish season. Great job out there Aaron and Congratulations again!
