    I don't think that was a wiper. Just a well fed Striped Bass. There's just tons of food in the lake for them to gorge on.

    it looks like the one that run around chasing bait fish in sail cove.
    small schools of them from about 2-5lbs
    there has been more of them showing this summer fall around the dam and sail cove
    we dropped a go Pro at the inlet a month ago and their looked to be about 50 of them in 50 ft of water schooling with catfish

    I would point out that the fewer numbers at Perris probably lead to fatter fish, where as Castaic/Mid are all skinny because of the numbers. But its all debateble

    Yes the Float Tube sinker, it was a hit and go, I tried to ram him but I bounced back twelve feet.
    I think he carries a camera in hos pocket, poor me, mumbly returning to shore with my flag at half mast.
