Well, considering the federal government closed many state parks and recreation areas (which Pyramid lake is a part of, and not to mention being in the title of the post..) the political ramblings in this instance are actually not off topic, considering the shutdown is directly impacting fishermen at this lake.

IMO, the only reason to shut down the state parks was to directly piss off the general public, in order to goad us into joining their pathetic national hissy-fit.. And people wonder why I'm so anarchistic..
