Convict Lake

Spent the weekend at convict lake and did a little fishing to lol. First day was good and we got five fish, but no love on the second. Alot of followers but no fish. Weather was great pretty cold in the morning but great once the sun hit you. Water temp was around 53°. Rooster tails, tasmanian devils and mice tails did the work. Red/green/gold and brown/gold seem to be the color they went for. Marked alot of big fish real deep. Didn't mind getting a skunk the second day because its just nice to be up there. This is my favorite time of year to be in the sierras.

we caught all five fish at the inlet. Yea I only used lures and the mice tail. Another guy I saw did pretty well on inflated crawlers.

Yea its beautiful. I could see 30ft down witj the sun at the right angle.
