Laguna Lake with my little girl!
After a long fun day at HG5. My daughter Sammie decided she didn't want to hear about fishing but go fishing. So I took her over to Laguna lake for a little action. She did great reeling in the fish when I told her they were on but otherwise she spent her attention trying to feed the ducks sticks. Lol
She caught 4 bluegill and 1 slider turtle. All C & R!
Had a blast watching my little girl catch her first fish!

HAHA, that sounds like my son, we went about 2 months ago, but we are going again this month to laguna lake. he loved it, he caught a 1lb bass and loved using the net when ever i caught stuff haha. he was more worried about him getting a chance to drive the boat.

This is little Laguna Lake in Fullerton. Its great watching their faces when a fish is on the line. Yes, we used night crawlers.

Tossing a big fat flylined nightcrawler on 4lb will get ya a HUGE redear. The trick is setting the hook correctly, many people screw up and just set the hook at the first tug :D
good stuff, as long we keep fishing our new generations will :)
