5/10 mech and 8/10 cos....the reel has some problem that are fixable if you wanna order the parts. The reel was ok when i first got it but i stoped fishing it after it had started giving me trouble. If you wanna try and fix a reel for the first time this might be the one for you. $30 shipped (dont live in CA anymore) or trades...
maybe a used shimano canean? Open to any thing else....
