DF, I was just saying what I think the president's is going to do - air and strikes at just enough infrastructure to make the civilian population miserable and infuriate the Arabs, Persians, etc. -

Way I see it, the USA has three options right now:

1. Finally commit to an imperial presence in the middle east, southwest asia and probably indonesia.

B. Finally commit to minding our own business in that neck of the woods and get ready for $25 dollar-a-gallon gas.

III.As a nation, put the same amount of effort and research into developing alternate fuels as we presently put into trying to down-load porn for free. (And I know to some ears "alternate fuel" sounds like Bolshevism run amok, but eventually - probably sooner than later - we will have no choice but to do it.)
