    That's a fine reel you have and made me dig out my old squidder that has been in the garage for years. That thing would cast hardware over a mile and won me lots of jack pots on the half day boats in the 70's.Attachment 42410

    Clean her up and service it and go do it again. By sitting in the garage I bet all the grease in the reel has melted to the lowest area of the reel. No big deal just needs to be cleaned, serviced and new drag washers with tender loving care. What fishing rod do you have it attached too? Cool picture thanks for the post.

    The rod is a custom made surf rod, think its a Saber blank but can't remember but it's from the 70's. I would surf fish a lot with it..Aliso beach area. I'll make it come to life again.
