Striper King Classic 3 at Diamond Valley Lake

For this year's Striper King Classic 3, we want everyone to have a chance to win!

We added (2) different categories that have nothing to do with the largest striper caught. Here are the categories:

1. "Blind Bogey" competition- A mystery weight that is determined by the sponsor. The closest striper caught to this weight will win the prize package. Typically, this weight is on the lower end of the spectrum. Everybody that weighs in a striper has a chance!

2. Sponsored line challenge- If you catch a striper on the sponsors line, and it happens to be the largest striper caught using that line, you will win the prize package. Note: Proof of purchase is required, which includes showing sponsors line spool or current receipt of sale.

The Striper King Classic 3 on the "Phil Friedman Outdoors- Freshwater Show" this past Wednesday.

To give you a little "flavor" of the SKC3, take a few minutes to listen to the interview from Phil Friedman's show. As a super-bonus, one of Diamond Valley Lakes top guides comes on after me. If you listen very carefully, you can pick up some fantastic striper fishing tips from this guide. These tips could be the difference between winning the SKC3, or just being a spectator.

Time flies as we are 3 weeks away from the SKC3! Here are the important updates:

1. "Tickets by Mail" available for 11 more days only. If you can't purchase tickets in advance, use this method to save a few bucks. For details, PM the SKC3 and we will email you instructions. September 18th is last day to order by mail.

2. Save $10.00 by purchasing tickets in advance! Day of event tickets are $49.00. Ticket outlets are:
Bass Pro Shops (Rancho Cucamonga), Bluewater Tackle (New Temecula location), Last Chance B&T (Hemet) and Diamond Valley Lake Marina

"LIVE" Pro Guide Charity Auction at the SKC3

This pro guide was the 2012 Diamond Valley Lake "Angler of the Year".
He has 18 1st Place finishes.
He has 15 2nd Place finishes.
He has 17 "Big Fish" tournament awards.
In 2011, he was recognized as a "Top 40 Bass Angler" in California.

STRIPER BITE AT DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE PICKING UP AT EXACTLY THE RIGHT TIME

Several angler's are reporting very good indications that the striper bite is picking up at DVL. With the Striper King Classic 3 on Sept. 28th, it's a very good thing!

Mike James went out on September 13th and threw 6 inch Spro BBZ for LMB, but could only get stripers to bite. Mike says, "Lots of followers but the stripers were going off this morning and liked the BBZ. I got 4 fish all around 6lbs.".
