    Default Lizard ID.

    Was out with the 4x4 in the Barstow area and seen this cool looking guy, he was about a foot long. Do ya know what kind of lizard he is.Attachment 42053

    I was thinking the same thing, but I am not definite. Have only seen the full size adults.

    There's tons of those guys (chuckawallas) in the Lucern Valley and beyond. They're great at wedging themselves in crevices, so you can't get them.

    Wow, Old Pudd Fisher, I have never seen a lizard that big in the wild. I didn't even know that there were lizards that big in California.

    Yeah he is like my pet, I have seen him a lot at our favorite camp spot and he comes out to say hi sometimes.Attachment 42226Attachment 42227
