When you consider the wild, obscure interpretations of the Bible and the acts committed by Christians in this country (from all parts of our political spectrum), I think it is quite possible to be a self-professed Christian and supporter of President Obama. In fact, you can claim to be a Christian and engage in all sorts of deplorable - and very American - activities and pastimes. Don't believe me?
