This forum has been relatively quiet of late. Anyone have any thoughts on the Zimmerman - Trayvon Martin trial? Any comments on whether it was murder or stand your ground?

I think Zimmerman will walk. If he was out for murder he wouldn't have called the cops first. He is a dumbass too, cop wannabe, too much TV. The witness saw part of the fight.
Reasonable doubt.

I once refereed a fight, it was a hilarious outcome.



But I'm curious how any of that is relevant if I'm assaulted by a self proclaimed rent a cop this weekend?

Last time I checked, Zimmerman was on trial. Not Martin.

You mean I can't provoke a fight with someone, then proceed to start getting my å$s beat, and in turn pull out my gun and shoot them in self defense claiming I was standing my ground?

This would have been a great statement for the prosecution to use to start the trial, maybe they can use it during closing arguments. Only thing I'm not sure about is a second degree murder charge, think they may be screwing themselves by reaching a little too high unless a lesser charge can be handed out be the jury.
