The Wood!! Late report 5/12

Since I've been off for summer dicided to hit up the wood to try to get some cats and stripes. We dicided to pull an all nighter! Started at 7pm on 5/11/13 and left 8am 5/12/13
Had alot of fun with all the small schoolies. They wer biting all night we ended up catching over 50! And also got a nice 41/2lb cat.. At around 4 in the morning got tired of all the dinks so I started chucking the swimbait. About 30 min in get blown up on and fight a nice striper for a couple miin. It was a great fight. Ended up weighing 9 1/2 pounds. Almost a double D but still a great fish. Threw for a while after with no results then once the sunlight started to show I began throwing some top water and managed one largemouth. All in all was a good night wish we would of caught some more cats but that's fishing and can't complain we were busy all night with the small stripes and landed a 9 1/2 in the morning.
