    Default 6/15 Skinner slaughter

Hit the lake at opening, on the water at 6:15. First fish on at 6:18, next at 6:21 then 6:24....... As I was clearing the u-rig I heard the old familiar splashing sound of a busting striper. Looked up on the foggy, still water to find I was in the middle of a boil!!. Turned everything off and boated my u-rig, and reached for my jerkbait rod. Limited by 7:00. What a blast. They would come up then back off then back around again...... Only 1-2 pounds but fun on light tackle. Did some largemouth hunting after that for a couple hours. Had to head home early for company but thought I'd drop the rig for yuks on the way in. Yup, still biting. C&r'd a couple more. I'll be back in the morning for sure....

Pat what are you using on your u-rig. Are you using the down rigger. And how far down are you trolling.

Jag, you too funny! Guys the stripers are in boiling, feeding mode. No downrigger, they are in the top1-15 feet of water all over the lake. Just show 'em something fishy and just 2-3 inches long.... DONE! I kinda felt like Myth Busters out there. Blue Stone my ***!
