Thread: Friday morning at Sunset

  1. #1

    Default Friday morning at Sunset

Took the day off and decided to heads to the beach for some surf action. Arrived about 8:30 just before high tide. Started out using camo sand worms, first cast got bit, Barred Perch. Almost every cast was a bump or a fish. When the bite slowed a little started digging up sand crabs and the bite was on again. Ended the day with close to 30 perch two of which were in the 12'' range. I had a blast and plan to hit it again on Monday. I need to get my camera out and learn how to post pics.

    Nice job nailing the perchies!
Try keeping a couple of smaller ones and use them as bait.
