Thanks Don! I've always wanted to catch a saltwater bass on a spinnerbait and I knew it could be done so I gave it a shot

I fished a double willow spinner bait with a smimmie trailer many many times on the surf. Not even a bump. You should get double cool points for that...:) Keep at it bro!

Not sure how effective a spinnerbait would be from shore unless the you have calm conditions. I've tried it too, fishing for halibut at night. I thought the extra vibrations could trigger a strike but so far I haven't had any success, but bass is a totally different story We need to get a surf session together soon!

Big Sandie there Daniel. Got to try a spinner bait one day. Think I'll be more confident in throwing one when I can go with someone that knows how to use one.

I was just letting it drop down against the rocks and slow rolling it on the bottom. You should give it a try next time you're targeting bass

Daniel, nice sandie on the spinnerbait. I've always been wanting to throw the spinner in that spot. I think it's time to use my Bass Pro giftcard on a few spinners I've been eyeing out.

Thanks Jason! Make sure you get some heavier duty spinnerbaits. I was using a freshwater spinnerbait and that sandie totally bent out the wire lol I've ordered some heavier duty saltwater ones for next time.
