,,,T/O,,, called and said he had Wednesday off ! Lets kill Stripey ! I was first in line at the gate waiting for the Man ! When Bob drove up he told me that he had no Sardines, They were out !
As Bob was getting the boat ready this guy walks up and hands us three packs of fresh frozen Sardines packed for human consumption ! Happy Day ! Happy Day ! The Mojo is on the rise !
We start out trolling the u-rigs right out of the launch ramp and Bob hooks up in the first minute with Mr. Striper, Then by the second minute I'm on and into the box goes Striper number two !
Were giggling like a cutbait when Bob notices a green boat at the launch ! Cutbait had ditched work to spy on us again ! The man has no shame, Just a sick as-s boat !
Cutbait places himself right in the path of our trolling and starts throwing a plunker or Producer or something. He clearly is not in position to catch a fish he's positioning to catch Bobs Fish !
As we troll by cutbait, Bobs trolling rod goes off and he hands it to me. As I'm reeling in Mr. Stripey no. 3 I see the top of cutbaits head is bright red ! No hair, just bright red skin !
As we start to troll again I notice cutbait following us tight, Troll our same path, our same moves ! Then I look over and there are two more Bob followers in the trolling line. I'ts crazy ! Bob
just Laughs.
Bob said watch this move, then he performs a dippsy do move and he had them all heading at each other not knowing what to do ! It was funny ! As we trolled away we landed two more nice
Stripers on the way to the bait bite.
Bob set us up on a drop off and the first baits hitting the water were slammed by Mr. Striper and the wide open bite was on ! We were having a great time laughing and joking and eating when
Bob says look ! We were having such a good time we didn't notice cutbait and two other boats anchor right next to us ! Even though they were right next to us they were stinky with the SKUNK !
Bob said he think's he see's a tear in cutbaits eye's and is it all right to call him in ? I said of coarse ! It's wide open ! Cutbait anchors so close that he stealing our bait and sandwiches when were
not looking ! I got to know cutbait pretty good that day, Funny man, Great Dad, Good brother, Good husband and except for some really weird technique a good fisherman too !
We caught and kept limits of Striper and kept two of the six really nice Channel Catfish we caught ! Cutbait pulled anchor and went over to one of the other boats and handed them his fish and
came back for more ! I've been fishing hard and a lot for over 55 years. When days like this happen, It's what you dream of ! It's what you compare all other trips to ! It's not just the great
fishing, It's the new friends and the old friends and the laughs combined ! When cutbait finally left with a sore wrist, Bob and I sat and talked and fished and laughed and talked and ate and talked
and I found out why I love the man so much ! He is just like my brother ! There is nothing better then fishing with your brothers ! I love fishing with Bob ! Bob never had a big brother until now !
I have adopted a little brother ! A little brother that is a Legend in southern California. The number one Striper and Trout guide in the area by far ! We talked about adventures that are coming up
soon, on my boat and his, I am jazzed ! I love fishing with my brothers.
