Default San Diego Bay light line Calico Bass and Sand Bass 3-18 (video)

Started the morning off power drifting for Halibut and Sand Bass. We caught and released seven shorts all on anchovy. A long with the shorts came a bunch of Lizard fish and Mackerel. The Sardines and smelt just kept getting raked. We did get five Calico Bass and one Sand Bass.

    Nice report and video.

What exactly was your guys' rig setups? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

For drifting I use a modified Carolina rig. Instead of threading your main line through the hole in the weight, You thread the main line through the barrel end of a snap swivel and attach the weight to the snap swivel. This set up will let you change the size of the weight as the wind picks up and I think the main line slides through the barrel swivel nicer then the weight.
