Now "THAT'S" What I'm talking about right there !

    I mean the Nessy Burger......Not the spotties....LOL

That burger looks like a good old fashioned home made burger for sure. I've never heard of the Nessy burger before.
    As for the spotties......

Awesome slayage on the Yak. Quite an accomplishment and you must have been all smiles during the session. That's a really nice assortment of flies you have there as well. What weight rod do you use? Do you use a sinking line or a floating line?
Any way you look at it .... It's a lot of work but I can't think of a grumpier species to pursue in a harbor/bay enviroment. Even little thumb sucking spotties can put up quite a fuss on lighter gear.

Thanks for the inspiring report. Keep up the good work out there!

Thanks for the report. Guess I need to gear up for salt water fly fishing; only have 4 and 5 wt rods now.

Nice work! Fly fishers make it look so easy. I bought an 8wt fly rod years ago for the surf, but it was just a disaster every time I went out. I definitely would like to give fly fishing another shot someday.
