Default Ventura on the V day

Hit the beahc for 1/2 day this morning try looking the pig of this season. It turned out to be very slow...dead....

Got to the beach around 8:15 am. Weather was nice, little wind and the tide is coming at peak around noon. Threw lc for 1 hour...no bites.....weird...where the heck are they!!!!. Switched to 6 inches long try to catch the big one...still no bites...about to call it a day I finally got one fish that beat the skunk...left at noon.

They might be enjoyed their V day....LOL.

A beached skunk buster and a day in the salt is a "victory" in my book any day!
    Thanx for the fish report.

Last few times I hit the ventura area it's been a lt slower than i'm used to hope it doesn't stay that way!
Way to beat the skunk though. Thanks for the report!

Nice job on the Skunk buster.
I haven't been out there in weeks...
Conditions looks pretty good this weekend for Halibut hunting.

One better than none. Kinda strange cuz a few of the spots I've fished for perch has slowed down a bit too. Maybe too much pressure? Who knows...all we can do is keep trying.

Good to hear you're getting out there Mr. C.!!!

It's all about that one fish!
You did what you could and it paid off.
With the jump in water temperature, I see alot of things happening soon.
    Have a nice weekend,
    Robert
